Modern medical technologies may help the racing star.
There are positive shifts in the rehabilitation of legendary German Formula 1 driver Michael Schumacher. This was stated by journalist Stefan L'Hermitte from the French publication L'Equipe, as reported by the Daily Mail.
"This year he signed a helmet. It was for a charitable event. Did his wife hold his hand? We don't know for sure, but this is the first time we've received a positive sign. The thing is, we still haven't seen him walk; it seems he still can't speak," the journalist noted.
In December 2013, Schumacher sustained serious head injuries while skiing. The latest reports on his health from Schumacher's family date back to September 2021. At that time, a documentary about the driver was released on Netflix, in which his loved ones stated that he is unable to move or communicate independently.
Schumacher is a seven-time Formula 1 champion. He holds numerous Formula 1 World Championship records: for the most fastest laps (77) and consecutive championship titles (5). He also ranks second in wins (91), podiums (155), and pole positions (68), trailing only Lewis Hamilton in these statistics.
Michael Schumacher (born January 3, 1969, Hürth-Hermülheim, North Rhine-Westphalia) was a dollar billionaire according to Forbes magazine in 2017.
