It was recently revealed about their strained relationship with Harry's family.
Creative director of the fashion house Balenciaga, Pierpaolo Piccioli, revealed that he initially did not want to invite Meghan Markle to the show during Paris Fashion Week, but she asked him to.
"I met Meghan a few years ago and we have been in touch since then. She reached out to me and said she would love to come to the show. There was no strategy or big preparations. I didn’t tell anyone about her coming because I wanted it to be a surprise," Piccioli said in an interview with The Cut.
44-year-old Meghan Markle made her debut at Paris Fashion Week, although she had previously attended similar events in the U.S. First, the Duchess of Sussex attended the Balenciaga show, choosing a white suit with a shawl draped over her shoulders. Later, Prince Harry's wife changed into a black dress. Interestingly, it was after this public appearance that Meghan Markle was suspected of having undergone plastic surgery or misusing "Ozempic."
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped back from royal duties in 2020 and moved to the U.S. After that, they lost their right to state protection. It was also revealed at that time that they had a strained relationship with Harry's family, and later the conflict escalated after the release of the prince's memoirs. In the book, he accused relatives of racism and admitted that he always felt like the "spare" heir. Now, however, he has changed his mind: Prince Harry is making efforts to reconnect with his father and even plans to move back to the U.K. with his family.
The couple is currently raising two children — son Archie and daughter Lilibet. Additionally, Meghan Markle is building a business in the U.S., but she constantly faces criticism for insincerity and "staged" shows. Recently, she was also criticized for holding a canning device upside down.
