41-year-old director Valeria Gai Germanika has launched accusations against director Alexey Uchitel. She reported that her documentary film was rejected at the selection stage for an international competition allegedly at the maestro's request.

"After my film was approved by the selection committee and this official letter, after a while, the festival's program director called me and said that Alexey Uchitel had withdrawn my film from the competition. Of course, I asked why," she stated.

Valeria Gai Germanika was supposed to present her new work at the film screening. According to her, she received an invitation from the organizers personally.

She claims that the reason was allegedly the director's biased attitude. "I just don't appeal to Alexey Uchitel, which is why the film was removed from the main competition," Valeria laments.

She does not hide that she is shocked by Uchitel's behavior, who holds the honorary position of president of the festival. "There were a sea of tears, of course.
