On May 18, musician Jānis Stībelis released his new single "Straume" and its music video, as well as announces a series of autumn concerts in several cities of Latvia. This is the first single from the upcoming studio album, which the artist plans to release in 2027.
The song "Straume" combines gospel intonations, 80s rhythms, and the atmosphere of yacht rock, creating an atmospheric and emotionally rich sound. It is a song about time, movement, and a person's place in the flow of life.
"This song is about the current, about the feeling that not everything in life can be controlled. Sometimes the most important thing is not to resist the current, but to trust it and allow yourself to move forward," says Jānis Stībelis about the new single.
Alongside the release of the single, the artist also announces autumn concerts, where, in addition to the favorite songs of the listeners, compositions from the new album will be performed.
"The autumn concerts will include songs and hits beloved by listeners for decades, without which our concerts are unimaginable, as well as completely new compositions from the upcoming album. It has always been important for us to feel the reaction and emotions of people when we perform songs that have never been heard live before — it is at this moment that a real connection with the listener is established," says Jānis Stībelis about the series of concerts.

October 3 – Valmiera Cultural Center
