The streaming service Netflix has shown the teaser for the sci-fi horror series 'Burrows' (The Boroughs), produced by the creators of 'Stranger Things', the Duffer brothers.
This time, the events will take place in a retirement home in the picturesque town of Burrows, where a group of seniors must come together to stop a supernatural threat that wants to steal from them their most valuable possession – time.
The main roles in the show are played by Bill Pullman ('Independence Day', 'Nose', 'The Righteous Gemstones', the series 'The Sinner'), Geena Davis ('The Fly', 'Beetlejuice', 'Thelma & Louise', 'Cutthroat Island'), Alfred Molina ('Boogie Nights', 'Magnolia', 'Spider-Man 2', 'Frida'), Clarke Peters ('Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri', 'John Wick', 'Five Bloods', the series 'The Wire'), Alfre Woodard ('Primal Fear', 'Captain America: Civil War', 'The Gray Man', the series 'True Blood') and Denis O'Hare (the series 'American Horror Story').
The first season of the series 'Burrows' will consist of eight episodes, all of which will be released simultaneously on Netflix on May 21, 2026.
