The Rolling Stones are preparing to release a new album in July. Rumors about this arose after posters of the band Cockroaches (one of the alternative names for The Rolling Stones used at the peak of their career) appeared in the Camden Town area of London, reports Pitchfork.
The first single titled "Rough and Twisted" was released on April 11, exclusively on vinyl (yes, the track is not available on any streaming platform). The title of the album has not yet been revealed.
It is known that the producer once again is Andrew Watt, who worked on the album "Hackney Diamonds" (2023) and collaborated with Paul McCartney. It is reported that "Rough and Twisted" follows the classic canons of the band: "a powerful riff, an unrestrained harmonic solo from Mick Jagger, and a carefree, bold spirit."
