At the 24th VES Awards ceremony, James Cameron's film "Avatar 3: Flame and Ashes" triumphed, winning seven awards, including the top prize for "Best Visual Effects in a Photorealistic Feature Film."
The film also received awards in the following categories:
- "Breakthrough Technologies"
- "Best Created Model in a Photorealistic or Animated Film"
- "Best Environment in a Photorealistic Film"
- "Best Character"
- "Best Simulation Effects in a Photorealistic Film"
- "Best Cinematography in CG Work"
The closest competitor was the Netflix and Sony Animation animated project "K-Pop Demon Hunters", which won three awards: "Best Visual Effects in an Animated Film," "Best Animated Character" (Rumi), and "Best Simulation Effects."
