This year, the country music festival will take place in a new format in Saulkrasti 0 19

The organizers of the event emphasize that the "Steampunk Country Festival" is a new stage in the history of Latvian country music — a festival that combines the traditions of country music, the visual aesthetics of steampunk, and a modern festival format by the sea.

"Steampunk is a creative and visually expressive style inspired by the industrial revolution of the 19th century, Victorian aesthetics, and fantasies about what the world might look like if technology had developed in the direction of steam, mechanics, and gears," the festival organizers describe.

The steampunk subculture is characterized by the prevalence of metallic mechanisms, gears, steam motifs, vintage clothing, top hats, goggles, and retro-futuristic accessories.

The event program includes live country music from Latvia, Europe, and the USA, DJ sets, a steampunk artists and craftsmen fair, creative workshops, and themed entertainment. Parades in steampunk costumes and photo zones are also planned.
