The biopic covers key stages of the artist's life. In the official synopsis, the film is described as a candid portrait of an outstanding yet controversial figure who became the "King of Pop." However, it remains unclear how thoroughly the creators will address the most complex and dark aspects of his biography, including allegations of sexual misconduct against children, which became the subject of the 2019 documentary "Leaving Neverland."
The first teaser was presented in early November. In it, viewers see a young Michael in a recording studio, followed by footage illustrating the rapid rise of his career: packed stadiums, large-scale dance numbers, and the filming of the iconic music video for Thriller. The film will feature about thirty songs by Michael Jackson.
