Study: Evening Workouts Are More Beneficial for Health Than Morning Workouts

Sydney scientists conducted a study and found that evening workouts have a more positive effect on health compared to morning workouts. Physical activity is best tolerated after 6 PM, reports the New York Post.

 

For eight years, researchers studied data from 30,000 people aged up to 62 years suffering from obesity.

It was found that participants who exercised in the evening had a 61% lower risk of developing cardiovascular diseases compared to those who did not engage in physical activity.

At the same time, morning workouts were associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular diseases and even premature death from various causes.
