A resident of Panama caught a giant cubera snapper measuring 126 centimeters and broke the world record. This was reported by Outdoor Life.
Tony Peiro claimed his right to the new achievement. The record catch was made during fishing at the Los Buzos resort. Peiro's cubera exceeds the previous record by six centimeters. The decision to register the new record must be made by the International Game Fish Association (IGFA).
According to the organization's rules, to record a new achievement, the length of the caught record fish must exceed the length of the previous one by at least one centimeter. So the man has no doubts about his victory.
Los Buzos is known for its record catches. As Outdoor Life writes, more than 30 world records have been set there.
