The nutritionist shared unexpected health benefits of butter.
To Consume or Not to Consume?
In recent years, there have been increasing recommendations to reduce the consumption of butter due to its high cholesterol content. Is this really the case? Nutritionist Olga Kashcheeva explained.
- Butter is one of the most beneficial products. It contains many substances that positively affect our health, - the expert claims.
Research has shown that butter includes important trace elements such as iron, sodium, phosphorus, calcium, as well as vitamins A, C, D, E, K, and B vitamins. Additionally, it is an excellent source of healthy dairy fats (50–82.5 percent in regular butter and at least 99 percent in clarified butter).
How Does Butter Affect the Body?

If consumed in moderation, butter will only bring benefits. For example:
* strengthens the nervous and cardiovascular systems,
* improves liver and gallbladder function,
* enhances visual acuity,
* prevents the appearance of wrinkles,
* strengthens hair,
* makes skin more moisturized and velvety.
It is important to note that the fatty acids contained in butter (with a fat content of at least 72 percent) are especially necessary for the proper development of children. This product helps activate brain activity and prevents obesity.
According to the expert, the optimal consumption rate is no more than 15-25 grams of butter per day. This amount is sufficient for making two delicious sandwiches or adding to two servings of pasta.
How to Properly Consume Butter?
To ensure that butter brings only benefits to your body, follow these recommendations:
* do not exceed the recommended amount. Excessive consumption will negatively affect heart and digestive system function and may lead to weight gain.
* try to consume butter in the morning. This will saturate your body with beneficial fatty acids and activate brain function.
