To make them, the batter needs to be divided into three parts. Leave the largest part unchanged – this is the base.
In the second part, add 1–1.5 tsp of unsweetened cocoa to achieve a light brown color for the spots. In the third part, add 3 tsp of cocoa for the dark outline.
On a preheated skillet, first, place a few drops of the light brown batter and immediately outline each of them with the dark brown batter, creating a leopard skin effect. Let the pattern set for a few seconds and then pour the light batter on top.
