1. Eggs. This product is a source of iron, protein, and choline (a B vitamin). These elements are essential for the proper functioning of the brain. Additionally, protein supports metabolism and contributes to effective energy exchange.

2. Bananas. These are among the most beneficial fruits for improving mood. It is recommended to consume 1-2 fruits a day. They contain numerous macroelements and vitamins that are beneficial for the entire body and active metabolism: magnesium, potassium, vitamins E, C, and B6. Bananas also contain fiber, which prolongs the feeling of fullness, while fructose and glucose are quick carbohydrates that instantly energize the body.

3. Nuts. Another source of good mood. They are rich in protein, as well as copper, magnesium, and riboflavin (a B vitamin), which help normalize metabolism and activate brain function. However, one should not overindulge and eat them in large quantities.

4. Mandarins and oranges. Citrus fruits contain a large amount of vitamin C, which is involved in the synthesis of neurotransmitters — norepinephrine and serotonin (the happiness hormone). However, do not overeat to avoid possible allergic reactions.

5. Plain water. A lack of fluid can lead to thickening of the blood and slowing its flow, which worsens the supply of oxygen and nutrients to the cells. Even if a person gets enough sleep, a lack of fluid can cause quick fatigue. Therefore, when experiencing severe fatigue, it is better to drink a glass of plain water instead of coffee or tea.
