Riga, April 18, LETA. On Friday, 149 traffic accidents were registered in Latvia, but only in two of them did people get injured - one person in each case, the State Police reported to LETA.
One accident with injuries occurred in the Riga region, and the other in Zemgale.
On Friday, eight drivers were stopped for driving under the influence, and in six cases, criminal cases were initiated.
During the day, 586 administrative protocols were issued for traffic violations, including 283 for speeding and two for aggressive driving.
