The lawyer for Janis Timma's family, Margarita Gavrilova, announced on social media that the first hearing in the case "Timma vs. Sedokova" will take place on March 2 at the Khoroshevsky District Court in Moscow.
The lawyer backed her statement with a screenshot from the official portal of the courts of general jurisdiction in Moscow, indicating that a hearing will take place on that day.
"This is the introduction, the process has officially begun! This is what the so-called 'deadlock' looks like that I was told about in the comments. Everything is proceeding in its own way. Calmly, sequentially, and according to the law!" the lawyer stated.
Gavrilova also addressed Anna Sedokova personally: "Anna Vladimirovna, the time for hiding is coming to an end. Now everything will happen in the courtroom, not in interviews or stories," wrote the defender of the basketball player's family.
Margarita Gavrilova paid special attention to the concerns of the athlete's only son. "His son Christian is constantly crying, the boy keeps remembering his dad. He is still blood-related, it's hard for him to cope," she said. The lawyer noted that Janis had a very warm relationship with the boy; they often communicated and traveled together.
Currently, Christian is actively involved in football, basketball, and chess. The boy is growing up kind and bright. "A very smart boy, a radiant child in fact, very charming," Gavrilova shared.
