In Moscow, at the elite cosmetic clinic Elmas, 38-year-old blogger Yulia Burteva died after undergoing a buttock augmentation surgery. This was reported by the Telegram channel "112". Doctors made every effort to save the girl, but unfortunately, their efforts were in vain.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding the death under the article "Causing Death by Negligence." It was previously reported that the blogger fell into a coma. The patient developed anaphylactic shock and was urgently hospitalized in critical condition.
Yulia Burteva specifically flew to Moscow for the surgery — she lived with her Italian husband and family in Italy. Her blog had about 70,000 followers, and she actively shared about life in Italy, relationships, and the differences between the two cultures.
"My husband got his dream job, a good salary, a full benefits package; I can't even wrap my head around why the management needs all this. Payment for all of life, including travel, medical treatment, entertainment, food, etc., for the whole family — and all this in addition to the salary… for life. A dog came to us. It just showed up and doesn’t leave… We accepted her. We feel sorry for her previous owner, our neighbor, a good guy, who for some reason doesn’t need her; she seems unhappy to me still, but we seem to be doing everything for her," Yulia wrote in her blog.
