On Tuesday, a deceased man was found in the city canal in Riga, the State Fire and Rescue Service reported to the LETA agency.
On Friday, another deceased person was found in a body of water in the Saulkrasti municipality.
Since the beginning of the year, the State Fire and Rescue Service has found 98 deceased individuals in bodies of water, including 45 during the bathing season from May 15 to September 15.
