Military clothing from 5.11, popular among the Russian army, was imported according to customs data by Polish, Latvian, and Hong Kong firms.
Clothing from the tactical brand 5.11, which is purchased for Russian military personnel invading Ukraine, is being imported into Russia through Latvian, Hong Kong, and Polish firms, The Insider has discovered. At least these companies have indicated this brand in customs data.
According to them, this is done by the Latvian SIA MD Met with the mediation of the Hong Kong NStar Logistics Limited and the Polish Tls Import-Export Sp. Z O. O. The recipients were respectively LLC "Laf" and LLC "Partner Textiles," registered in Kaliningrad. Trousers, t-shirts, shirts, and caps under the brand "5.11 TACTICAL" were imported.
The 5.11 trademark is widely sold in military stores and "tactical gear" shops in Russia (1, 2, 3, 4). Even in the last decade, it was popular among the so-called "DPR" and "LPR" bandits, jihadists, and Kadyrovites.
