On Tuesday, global markets closed with gains. Oil prices rose amid tensions surrounding Iran, while stock indices were supported by ongoing investor interest in companies related to artificial intelligence.

Global stock markets and the oil market demonstrated confident growth on Tuesday.

One of the main factors was the lack of noticeable progress in negotiations related to the conflict surrounding Iran. Investors fear that tensions in the Middle East may persist longer than expected, which traditionally supports oil prices.

Against this backdrop, the price of WTI crude oil rose by 1.8%, reaching $93.76 per barrel. The price of Brent increased by 1.1%, reaching $96 per barrel.

For consumers, this is an important signal, as the rise in global oil prices over time may reflect on fuel costs and transportation expenses.

At the same time, positive sentiment persisted in the stock markets. Investors continue to actively invest in shares of companies related to artificial intelligence. This sector remains one of the main drivers of growth in global exchanges in recent months.

American indices closed the day in positive territory. The Dow Jones added 0.5%, the S&P 500 rose by 0.1%, and the Nasdaq Composite reached another high, albeit with minimal growth.

Positive dynamics were also observed in Europe. The London FTSE 100 gained 0.3%, the Paris CAC 40 rose by 0.8%, and the German DAX increased by 0.5%.

Interestingly, against the backdrop of rising oil prices, the European gas market moved in the opposite direction. The price of natural gas on the largest European platform, TTF, decreased by about 3%, dropping to €47.61 per megawatt-hour.

There were no significant changes in the currency market. The euro and British pound strengthened slightly against the US dollar, while the American currency rose slightly against the Japanese yen.

Currently, investors' attention is focused on two topics — the development of the situation in the Middle East and the prospects for further growth in the artificial intelligence sector. These factors largely determine the mood of global markets in recent weeks.
