On Monday afternoon, technical malfunctions were recorded in the operation of Swedbank cards at ATMs and during payments, according to the bank's statement.
Swedbank is already working on a solution to the problem; however, for making payments, the bank urges customers to insert their card into the payment terminal and enter the PIN code to confirm the payment.
By asset volume, Swedbank is the largest bank in Latvia.
As reported by Bb.lv, Swedbank recently sparked a scandal by displaying a rainbow LGBT flag on its headquarters.
