Pilots and cabin crew of the German airline Lufthansa have decided to strike on Thursday, unions reported, according to LETA citing AFP.
The Vereinigung Cockpit union announced that the pilots' strike will affect flights of Lufthansa and Lufthansa Cargo.
At the same time, the UFO union called for a strike by the cabin crew of Lufthansa CityLine.
Pilots are demanding an increase in pension payments, while cabin crew are seeking to initiate negotiations for a collective labor agreement.
According to Vereinigung Cockpit, all flights from airports in Germany will be affected throughout the day on Thursday due to the strike.
