Chinese airline Air China announced the signing of an agreement to purchase 60 A320neo aircraft from the European aerospace company Airbus, with a total catalog value of about $9.5 billion.
Thus, one aircraft will cost the Chinese $158 million (€135 million).
It is expected that the delivery of the aircraft will take place from 2028 to 2032, according to a press release from Air China.
Earlier on Tuesday, China Aircraft Leasing announced that its subsidiary CALC (British Virgin Islands) had agreed to purchase 30 A320neo aircraft from Airbus.
The day before, Chinese airlines Spring Airlines and Juneyao Airlines announced plans to acquire 30 and 25 A320 aircraft, respectively.
