The price of Bitcoin has fallen below 95 thousand dollars for the first time since early May 2025. This is evidenced by trading data.
According to CoinMarketCap, since the beginning of trading, the price of the popular cryptocurrency has dropped by 7.5 percent. The token has been declining for four consecutive days.
The current sell-off is fully correlated with other risky assets, but its scale in cryptocurrencies is larger due to their higher volatility, explained Max Gokhman, Deputy Director of Information Technology at Franklin Templeton Investment Solutions.
As previously stated by Tural Aliyev Taleh Oglu, a junior analyst at Freedom Finance Global, the sharp decline in the value of Bitcoin is more related to a market regrouping that is 'clearing excess leverage rather than turning into a full-fledged sell-off.'
