Нацбанк Украины ставит амбициозные задачи.

Most of the funds were provided by foreign partners.

As of the end of October, Ukraine's international reserves have significantly increased and amounted to $49 billion 516 million on November 1, which is 6.4%, or nearly $3 billion more than a month ago.

This dynamics is due to significant inflows from international partners, which exceeded the net sale of currency by the National Bank and the country's foreign currency debt payments. The volume of international reserves is sufficient to maintain the stability of the currency market, the statement said.

In October, $6,398.4 million was credited to the government’s currency accounts at the NBU, including:

$4,694.0 million – from the EU under the G7 Extraordinary Revenue Acceleration for Ukraine (ERA) initiative;

$1,079.4 million – through World Bank accounts;

$507.7 million – from the placement of government bonds;

$117.3 million – from the Council of Europe Development Bank.

For servicing and repaying the state debt in foreign currency, $611.6 million was paid, including:

$368.9 million – servicing and repayment of government bonds;

$199.5 million – servicing and repayment of debt to the World Bank;

$16.1 million – servicing and repayment of debt to the European Investment Bank;

$14.7 million – servicing and repayment of debt to the EBRD;

$12.3 million – servicing of debt to the EU;

$0.1 million – payments to other creditors.

In addition, Ukraine paid the International Monetary Fund $83.9 million.

Also, according to balance data, the National Bank sold $2,834.9 million on the currency market and bought back $800,000 into reserves.

Thus, the net currency sale in October amounted to $2,834.1 million.

Last month, due to revaluation, the value of financial instruments increased by $126.8 million.

According to the regulator, the current volume of international reserves provides financing for 5.1 months of future imports.

Thus, Ukraine's reserves have increased for the third consecutive month and set a new historical record. As is known, it was recorded in May – $46.68 billion.
