In the first eight months of this year, Latvia imported the most pumpkins from the Netherlands and exported the most to Estonia, according to data from the Central Statistical Bureau.
In the first eight months of this year, Latvia imported bottle pumpkins and fresh or chilled pumpkins, excluding zucchinis, from the Netherlands for a total of 102,846 euros. This was followed by Germany, from which pumpkins worth 50,112 euros were imported, and Turkey, whose pumpkins were supplied to Latvia for a total of 44,895 euros.
At the same time, in the first eight months of this year, Latvia exported pumpkins to Estonia for a total of 71,445 euros, to Lithuania for a total of 40,849 euros, and to the Netherlands for a total of 610 euros.
