Over the eight months of this year, 50.935 million liters of beer were produced in Latvia, which is 9% less than in the same period of 2024, according to data from the State Revenue Service (SRS) on the turnover of excise goods.
Over eight months, 66.03 million liters of beer were imported into Latvia, which is 20.7% less than a year earlier.
A total of 84.629 million liters of beer were supplied for consumption in Latvia over eight months, which is 6.8% less than a year earlier.
The volume of beer exports from Latvia decreased by 36.4% over eight months, from 44.023 million liters in 2024 to 28.002 million liters in 2025.
As reported, a total of 73.866 million liters of beer were produced in Latvia in 2024, which is 0.3% less than in 2023. Last year, 118.999 million liters of beer were imported into Latvia, which is 7.7% more than in 2023.
