Disagreements have emerged between U.S. President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding further actions towards Iran. According to American media, the parties have different assessments of the prospects for negotiations and the continuation of military operations.

Relations between Washington and Tel Aviv regarding the conflict with Iran are becoming increasingly tense. American publications Axios and the Wall Street Journal reported that during a recent phone call, Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu were unable to agree on a further strategy of action.

According to sources from Axios, after the conversation that took place on Tuesday, Netanyahu was noticeably irritated.

The main subject of the dispute was a revised proposal for ending the armed conflict with Iran. Media reports indicate that Qatar and Pakistan, along with other mediators, proposed a new version of a peace plan aimed at overcoming the contradictions between the U.S. and Iran.

In recent days, Trump has increasingly spoken about the possibility of a diplomatic solution. After a series of harsh statements directed at Tehran, he unexpectedly announced that he was postponing a new military strike, as negotiations, according to him, are developing positively.

At the same time, the American leader, as reported by the media, stated that Netanyahu "will do what I want him to do."

However, the Israeli leadership, judging by leaks to the American press, is significantly more skeptical about the negotiations.

According to media reports, Netanyahu advocates for the continuation of the military campaign against Iran, which was initiated by Israel and the U.S. on February 28. In Israel, it is believed that pressure must be maintained to further weaken Tehran's military potential.

Importantly, reports of disagreements between the U.S. and Israel are emerging against the backdrop of Washington's attempts to avoid a protracted regional war in the Middle East.

For the Trump administration, it is currently particularly important to prevent further escalation, which could affect oil supplies, the security of U.S. allies, and the situation around the Strait of Hormuz.

At the same time, Israel traditionally takes a tougher stance regarding Iran and its military infrastructure.

So far, neither the White House nor Netanyahu's office has officially confirmed the information about the conflict between the leaders. However, the leaks to the American media show that complex discussions about the further course are taking place among the allies.

Against this backdrop, the attention of global players is increasingly focused on whether the negotiations can indeed lead to de-escalation or whether the conflict surrounding Iran will once again enter an active military phase.
