With the onset of the war, the study of UFOs in the region has become more of a military task than a civilian one.
In 2023, aerial reconnaissance in Ukraine observed an unidentified flying object, said electronic warfare and communications expert, advisor to the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Sergey Flesh Beskrestnov.
"In 2023, I published a video from the front where aerial reconnaissance observed an unidentified flying object. An hour later, representatives of a state agency that has been dealing with these issues in Ukraine since Soviet times contacted me," he noted on Telegram.
According to the expert, with the onset of the war, the study of UFOs in the airspace has become more of a military task than a civilian one.
In particular, as Flesh pointed out, the Armed Forces of Ukraine even developed a special comprehensive document on this topic, approved by the Commander-in-Chief.
"Therefore, it is not only the USA that deals with such issues, as the concept of UFOs may conceal new weapons of our adversary," he added.

As reported by UNIAN, the Russians have encountered a new unusual problem at the front: unidentified flying objects began hunting Russian 'waiting' drones.
The incident was captured by a Russian drone that was lying in wait on one of the frontline roads. The camera recorded something very strange: a powerful beam of light suddenly appeared in the sky, descended onto the road, and quickly ran back and forth along it. When the beam flashed over the drone, the operator recorded a loss of connection with the unmanned aerial vehicle.
The event captured on video looked like a scene from a science fiction movie about extraterrestrial aliens. Some called what they saw a "strange alien road scanner." Many commentators suggested that a Ukrainian drone with laser weapons, which cuts through the fiber optic cables that the 'waiting' drones use to communicate with the operator, flew over the road.
