Russian cargo ship carrying wheat sank in the Sea of Azov.
A Volgo-Balt type cargo ship carrying wheat sank in the Sea of Azov. This was reported by the governor of the occupied Kherson region of Russia, Vladimir Saldo.
He noted that as a result of the incident, one person did not survive. Two other citizens are missing.
According to Saldo, part of the crew was able to reach the shore of the Kherson region. He did not disclose further details about the incident.
Volgo-Balt type vessels are large cargo ships of the river-sea class, equipped with four holds with hatch covers, a tank and a stern, with double sides and a double bottom, with a machine room and a superstructure at the stern.
