Cuba's Foreign Ministry: The country's armed forces are preparing to repel a possible U.S. attack.
The armed forces of Cuba are preparing for a possible attack from the United States. This was reported by the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic, Carlos Fernandez de Cossio, in an interview with NBC News.
He emphasized that the country's military has been preparing in recent days to repel potential aggression from Washington.
"We would be naive if we did not do this, considering what is happening in the world. We truly hope that this (aggression) does not happen," said the Foreign Ministry representative.
Earlier in March, U.S. President Donald Trump announced preparations for new steps regarding Cuba. According to him, the island is in a "very bad situation," so Washington will begin to "do something" with Cuba.
