Reuters: Ukraine expects the disbursement of a €90 billion loan to begin in April.
Ukraine expects the disbursement of a €90 billion loan from the European Union (EU) to begin in April, despite Hungary's veto. This was reported by Reuters.
It is noted that on Thursday at the EU summit, officials were unable to convince Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban regarding the veto. Despite this, Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky remains optimistic.
"They will find ways to partially finance us. We expect the first tranche of the agreed amount for 2026 in April," Zelensky said to reporters.
