Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed dissatisfaction that Europe and the US are not exerting enough pressure on Russia.
He expressed this during an address to the participants of the European Council meeting, a fragment of which was posted on the Telegram channel of the head of state.
Zelensky noted that the 20th package of European Union (EU) sanctions against Russia has reached a deadlock, emphasizing that the union "could continue to exert pressure" on Moscow for the peaceful resolution of the conflict.
In addition, the Ukrainian leader complained that the support package for Kyiv amounting to 90 billion euros "has not been working for the third month now," and criticized the US decision to ease anti-Russian sanctions.
Earlier, Slovakia and Hungary blocked the EU's decision on a new package of sanctions against Russia and the allocation of a loan of 90 billion euros to Ukraine.
