Erdogan Speaks Out Strongly Against Iran 0 21

Despite Turkey's 'sincere' warnings to Iran, Tehran continues to take extremely erroneous and provocative steps that threaten the friendship between the countries, stated the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan. His words were reported by Anadolu.

"Such actions, which will inflict deep wounds on the hearts and minds of our nation and cast a shadow over our millennia-long good neighborly and brotherly relations, are unacceptable," he warned. Erdogan also noted that the main goal of the Turkish authorities is to "protect the country from the fire" of the conflict between Iran and Israel and the United States.

On March 5, Erdogan pointed out that prolonging the conflict with Iran would complicate the situation throughout the Middle East.
