In his message on the social network Truth Social, Trump wrote that the UK "may be the greatest of all allies," but the two aircraft carriers that London is considering sending to the Middle East are "no longer needed" by the US. The American leader added that allies are not needed "by those who join wars after we have already won."
Earlier, Trump also criticized Spain, calling it a "loser" and "hostile to NATO," and the British Prime Minister for insufficient support of the American operation in Iran.
