Vučić stated that Serbia will conduct exercises with NATO in May.
Serbia will conduct exercises with NATO in May but will maintain its position of military neutrality. This was stated by the President of the Republic, Aleksandar Vučić, as reported by the newspaper "Večernje novosti".
"We must strengthen our army, we must cooperate with everyone. We have always had good relations with Russia and China. To build tactically and strategically good relations with NATO countries, we can no longer allow ourselves to be victims of their attacks. I am glad to hear that we have exercises; we will conduct them in May with NATO," Vučić said.
At the same time, he emphasized that Serbia will never forget the year 1999, when Yugoslavia was bombed by NATO. Vučić added that the country "vigilantly guards its military neutrality" and does not intend to change this position.
