Several American fighter jets crashed in Kuwait: crews are alive

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense reported the crash of several American fighter jets on the country's territory. It is claimed that the crews of the aircraft are alive.

"Several American military aircraft crashed this morning. We confirm that all crew members survived," a statement from a Defense Ministry representative said.

It was also reported that all crew members were evacuated for examination and medical assistance.

"Authorities immediately began search and rescue operations, evacuating the crews and transporting them to the hospital for medical examination and treatment," the statement said.

The agency representative noted that their condition is stable.

He clarified that there is direct coordination with the U.S. regarding the circumstances of the incident. The causes of the crash are under investigation.

However, he did not specify the exact number of American fighter jets that were lost.

Earlier, it was reported that one American F-15E Strike Eagle fighter jet crashed as a result of "friendly fire." A U.S. official stated that the air defense strike was aimed at an Iranian drone, but the missile mistakenly hit the American aircraft.
