U.S. President Donald Trump announced that the United States has sunk Iranian ships and destroyed the headquarters of the Iranian Navy. He wrote this on his account on the social network Truth Social.
"I was just informed that we have destroyed and sunk 9 Iranian naval ships, some of which are relatively large and important. We are going after the others — they will soon find themselves at the bottom of the sea as well," the American leader stated.
Additionally, according to Trump, during another attack, the headquarters of the Iranian Navy was largely destroyed.
Earlier, Trump stated that the new leadership of Iran is ready for negotiations following the elimination of the country's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. It was not specified who exactly made such a proposal and when the conversation might take place. However, the White House leader mentioned that he has already agreed to communicate. "They should have done this earlier. They should have gone for what was very practical and easy to do much earlier. They waited too long," he said.
