It was reported that during the conducted operations, Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, Chief of Staff Abdolrahim Mousavi, former Chief of Staff Hossein Salami, head of the emergency command Gholam-Ali Rashid, commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Air Force Amir Ali Hajizadeh, and commander of the 'Syria-Lebanon' corps of the Quds Force Hossein Mahdavi were eliminated.
Additionally, the list included leaders of the Lebanese Shiite group Hezbollah, the Palestinian radical movement Hamas, and the chief of staff of the Houthi regime's armed forces, Yemeni militant Muhammad Abd al-Karim al-Ghamari.
Earlier, on March 1, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced plans to intensify strikes against Iran.
On February 28, the U.S. and Israel began a military operation against Iran. The targets included command facilities of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, airfields, drone launch sites, and air defense systems. Following this, the authorities of the Islamic Republic began launching retaliatory strikes against Israel, targeting U.S. facilities in Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, and Jordan. The United Arab Emirates were also attacked.
