A U.S. reconnaissance drone suddenly disappeared over Iran 0 18

The American MQ-4C Triton drone disappeared from radar on February 21 or 22 while flying over the Persian Gulf in Iranian airspace. This was reported by the Defence Network portal.

It is noted that it vanished after sending a distress signal. The drone is known to have taken off from Abu Dhabi and was conducting scheduled reconnaissance flights at an altitude of approximately ten kilometers.

The publication highlights that the disappearance of the American drone occurred at a time when tensions between the U.S. and Iran had reached a critical point.

Previously, the U.S. reported violations of its airspace by unmanned aerial vehicles belonging to a "Mexican cartel."
