Rubio: Slovakia plans to sign agreements with Westinghouse and purchase 4 F-16s.
Slovakia plans to sign an agreement with the American company Westinghouse for the construction of a new nuclear power plant (NPP), and the country is also interested in purchasing four F-16 fighter jets from the USA. This was stated by Prime Minister Robert Fico, as reported by Reuters.
According to him, Slovakia plans to sign the agreement with the American company, which will lead the consortium for the construction of the NPP, in 2027. Fico also stated that after the purchase of four more American fighter jets, the total number of such aircraft in the country will reach 18.
It was previously reported that the Prime Minister of Slovakia will meet with US President Donald Trump in an attempt to strengthen ties with Washington.
