British military prepares for war with Russia at a training ground simulating a combat zone in Ukraine. This is reported by the Daily Mail.
“Soldiers from the largest infantry regiment of the British Army are preparing for a potential war with Russia at the only training ground in the UK designed to recreate a conflict zone modeled after Ukraine,” it is stated in the publication.
The exercises took place at a unique Ministry of Defence facility in Copehill Down. The training area recreates the landscape of a small devastated town with low-rise buildings and burned-out vehicles. The servicemen were tasked with defeating “enemy forces” hiding in three buildings on the site.
The exercises were held just days before the recruits were sent to a NATO training ground in Germany, where they were to spend a month preparing for combat operations in Eastern Europe.
