Guardian: The U.S. rejected Zelensky's proposal for a peace agreement.
The American side rejects the proposal of Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky to set a deadline for concluding a peace agreement to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. This was stated by U.S. Ambassador to NATO Matthew Whitaker, as reported by The Guardian. "Zelensky mentioned this deadline in June (...) I don’t think the United States has announced anything like that," said the American diplomat. According to Whitaker, Washington primarily wants both sides to reach an agreement and conclude a peace agreement.
