The EU will ban the supply of computers to countries suspected of re-exporting to Russia.

The 20th package of anti-Russian sanctions from the European Union, the main element of which is planned to be a complete ban on servicing the transportation of Russian oil, will also include restrictions against 20 Russian regional banks and new transaction bans. This was reported by the media, citing a statement from the President of the European Commission (EC) Ursula von der Leyen.

Among the new sanctions promised by Brussels are a ban on the supply of computers and radio equipment to countries suspected of re-exporting to Russia, a ban on the supply of goods worth 360 million euros per year to the Russian Federation — "from rubber to tractors," as well as the inclusion of 43 tankers transporting Russian oil in the "black list."

Their total number will increase to 640. The measure is intended to be complemented by the actual cancellation of the price cap on insurance and other services related to domestic hydrocarbons, which was lowered to $44.1 per barrel on February 1.

Earlier, when the restrictive measure was announced by the media, it was noted that several EU countries did not want to approve it. Brussels plans to adopt the new sanctions package by February 24.
