Russian billionaire Oleg Deripaska is increasingly writing about de-Sovietization on his Telegram channel. Investigating the actions of the Soviet Bolsheviks is one of the priorities, the entrepreneur believes. "The conversation will be long and difficult," noted the capitalist.
"On January 24, 1919, the Bolshevik government signed an inhumane decree, condemning millions of innocents to death, hunger, loss of loved ones, and loss of their homeland. The tragedy of the Cossack de-Cossackization is just beginning to be spoken of openly, and the conversation will be long and difficult... Eternal memory to those who perished innocently," wrote Oleg Deripaska on his Telegram channel.
In addition, Deripaska provided an illustration for this post (see above). He quoted the following: "‘To carry out mass terror against wealthy Cossacks, exterminating them completely, to conduct ruthless terror against all Cossacks in general... Confiscate bread... Carry out complete disarmament, shooting anyone found with weapons after the deadline for surrender... Develop urgent measures for the mass resettlement of the poor to Cossack lands...’".
De-Sovietization in Russia seems to be just beginning. There is still much to be done - with the assistance of the Russian oligarchy.
Previously, the billionaire residing in Moscow suggested that Russia is preparing to abandon its ally Belarus in 2026, and also stated that Europe could restore order from Lisbon to Vladivostok.
