Britain will begin production of Nightfall ballistic missiles for Kyiv in 2027.
British enterprises will start producing ballistic missiles developed under the Nightfall program for Kyiv next year. This is reported by the UK Defence Journal (UKDJ). The UK Ministry of Defence confirmed that contracts for the missile development will be signed this spring, with production planned to begin in 2027. Deputy Defence Minister Luke Pollard stated that the department is moving towards concluding several contracts. In March, three teams will receive funding to design and assemble three missiles. The products are expected to be sent for testing within 12 months. After the test launches, the UK Ministry of Defence plans to immediately begin production, with the first deliveries of missiles to Kyiv potentially starting in late 2027. According to Pollard, the production rate will gradually increase to at least ten missiles per month.
