CNN: Trump Refuses to Attend Macron's Proposed G7 Summit Involving Russia.
U.S. President Donald Trump has declined to attend the extraordinary "Group of Seven" (G7) summit proposed by French leader Emmanuel Macron, which would include Russia. This was reported by CNN, citing a source.
"At this time, President Trump does not plan to travel to Paris," said an unnamed White House representative.
Earlier, the American leader published correspondence with Macron. In it, the French president proposed to organize an extraordinary G7 meeting in Paris, to which Russia and Ukraine would also be invited. According to Macron, representatives from Syria and Denmark could also be invited to the summit.
