No state has the right to seize foreign lands. This is how the EU's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaia Kalas, commented on the US claims to Greenland, as reported by Reuters.
"No country has the right to seize the territory of another — neither in Ukraine, nor in Greenland, nor anywhere else in the world," emphasized the head of European diplomacy.
Kalas added that Europe's response to the claims of US President Donald Trump should be realistic and based on principles.
Earlier, the head of European diplomacy stated that direct threats from Washington regarding the annexation of Greenland to the USA would harm both Americans and Europeans.
