UK Defense Minister Healey stated that he would like to kidnap Putin.
The head of the UK Ministry of Defense, John Healey, would not be opposed to the "kidnapping" of Russian President Vladimir Putin, similar to what happened with Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro. This was reported by UNIAN citing Kyiv Independent journalist Chris York.
The journalist asked the minister which world leader he would "kidnap." Healey stated that he would not mind "taking Putin into custody and holding him accountable for war crimes."
Earlier, Donald Trump stated that the US might not carry out an operation to capture Vladimir Putin. One of the reporters asked the politician if he was considering such an operation. "I don’t think it will be necessary," Trump replied. At the same time, the US president did not completely rule out such a scenario.
