In Iran, protests are called a new stage of the war with Israel and the U.S.
Protests in Iran are a new stage in the war between Israel and the United States against the Islamic Republic aimed at destabilizing it. This was stated by a member of the Information Technology Council under the government of the Islamic Republic, Mashallah Shamsolvaezin.
"The events of last night are the second phase of the war between Israel and U.S. President Donald Trump against Iran," he explained.
According to Mashallah Shamsolvaezin, Iran's opponents have merely changed tactics and are trying to destabilize the country from within. He called the protests a direct continuation of military actions in June 2025, placing the responsibility for them on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and U.S. President Donald Trump.
Earlier, Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei stated that the United States is interested in the unrest in the Islamic Republic. In his opinion, "a bunch of inexperienced and shortsighted people" are acting solely to please President Trump.
